Vivienne Tam's stated inspiration for this collection was Chinese opera and it's quietly evident in the rich textures, intricate details, sumptuous colors, and overall sense of exquisite drama. There was so much to look at with each piece that even with the gigantic screen depicting real time closeups, you could feel the crowd leaning forward in their seats, trying not to miss a single detail. A beautiful collection; full of precise detailing, a sense of reverence, and a flair for the dramatic. We especially love the prints, the coats, and the crocheted pieces. And the grey shift dress with the silhouette garden is stunning.
