Pretty maids, all in a row.
The latest collection by Pier Paolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri for Valentino is called "Techno Couture" and with one glance, you can immediately see some of the house's iconic and overtly feminine motifs: roses, ruffles, and bows. The palette is subdued, with occasional pops of Valentino red, and there's an interesting mix of lace and leather. They're clearly going after the younger customer but they've managed to do it without sacrificing the house style. A job well done, we'd say. A lot of these looks are red carpet-ready, especially for the younger set. We could see Dakota Fanning or Kristen Stewart or Carey Mulligan rocking some of these. In fact, whoever styles Dakota needs to get their hands on the above dress, STAT.
