She's relatively easy to make fun of as a celebrity caricature and fashion dilettante but the fact remains, when she wants to be (which is often), she can be chic as hell (which is just as often) . And her designs, while not groundbreaking, are nonetheless beautiful and stylish.

We saw her in person at the Season 4 Project Runway finale when she sat in as the guest judge. She wore a dress in a shade of orange very similar to this one and at the time we thought she looked amazing in it. When the press pictures hit the internet, she was mostly slammed for looking like a convict on the side of a highway picking up trash. The orange just didn't translate well. Here, we think it does. It's a simple little dress, but it's impeccable; clean and classic with a slight twist. Love the two-tone pumps and the pony tail too. A perfectly low-key way to complete the look. Totally IN.
