Kate Moss' Istanbul photos appear in W magazine

British model Kate Moss posed as a concubine for Turkish photographer Mert Alaş and his partner Marcus Piggot during her visit to Istanbul in June.

The photo shoot took place in the exotic atmosphere of Çağlayan Turkish bath. Wearing dresses and accessories by leading fashion designers, the controversial model's poses appeared in the September issue of the U.S. magazine W. Among the designers were Vera Wang, Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney.

The famous model posed for Alaş -- who work for brands like Louis Vitton, Missoni, Giorgio Armani, Roberto Cavalli, Fendi and Kenzo, and celebrities like David Beckham, Jennifer Lopez and Scarlet Johansson -- and his partner Piggot during a 15-hour photo shoot.

Moss, 34, who allegedly drank glasses of vodka during the shooting, also posed in the Sultan's Boats (Saltanat Kayığı) with a magnificent view of the Bosporus. Alaş, who previously worked for Moss, defined her an “unbelievable woman” and said she posed as “the most beautiful concubine of the sultan.”

During her visit, Moss also attended the opening of a fashion photos exhibition by Alaş and Piggot in Galerist. Her visit to Istanbul was an event because of a transparent dress she wore, her fight in a bar and her abusive language.

The pair, who started dating earlier this year, opted for a trial separation earlier this week.

Since her 2005 divorce from Brad Pitt, who left her for his Mr and Mrs Smith co-star Angelina Jolie after four years of marriage, Aniston has yet to find a suitable partner to settle down with.

But not even her lack of current partner, or Pitt's recent unveiling of his and Jolie's twins Knox and Vivienne could wipe the smile from her face.

Britney Spears' little sister Jamie Lynn cut a sad figure yesterday as she stepped for the first time following allegations her fiancé had cheated on her.

The 17-year-old actress's relationship was been rocked by claims that Casey Aldridge, 19, had been having an affair with Kelli Dawson, 28.

After the revelations last week, the Zoey 101 star and her two-month-old daughter Maddie Briann have fled the couple's home in Mississippi to stay with her mother Lynne 30 miles away in Louisiana.

Pictured for the first time since the reports, Jamie Lynn looked miserable as she joined mother Lynne and baby Maddie to buy a new mobile phone in a store in her hometown of Kentwood.

Dressed for the hot weather in a denim mini skirt and white vest, Jamie Lynn was still wearing the engagement ring she accepted from Casey in March - just three months before their daughter was born.

The couple, who have been dating for two years, were expecting to wed later this year, but their marriage plans have been thrown into jeopardy following the recent reports.

Kelli told America's InTouch Weekly magazine she had been dating Casey since November 2006 and had still been seeing him when Jamie Lynn was six months pregnant with Maddie - the same month he proposed.

Britney's first husband Jason Alexander, who still lives in the Spears' family hometown, supported Kelli's claims.

He said: 'Kelli and Casey have been a couple on and off for a few years.

'They were a really tight couple, but I think it was hard for Kelli, having Jamie Lynn in the picture.'

Casey has denied the allegations, accusing his ex-girlfriend of fabricating the affair to make money.

Britney Spears linked to 'Pussycat' lesbian stripper role

Comeback contender Britney Spears has been linked to many oddball things during her tumultuous time on Earth.

Let's see...there's her connection with those merry Mickey Mouse folk, her penchant for quickie marriages, popping out love kids, and a rather naughty habit of not wearing underwear. Tsk.

But nothing beats her latest venture.

The interwebnet has been buzzing with the rumour (and I stress rumour) that Spears has been chosen by director Quentin Tarantino to star in his remake of the 1965 cult film Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!

Aside from the horror that yet another classic is about to be tinkered with (and undoubtedly slaughtered), there's the hideous prospect of seeing Spears fumble like a fembot on the silver screen as a maniacal, killer lesbian stripper.

Russ Meyers will be spinning in his grave. Boo hiss, indeed.

Like I say, it's purely a rumour at this stage. Tarantino, who is currently occupied directing his "re-imagining" of The Dirty Dozen called Inglorious Bastards, has responded to the Pyssycat re-make rumours with "That's complete bullsh**."

But that hasn't stopped the tabloids from milking the rumour for all it's worth.

British newspaper the Mirror also says Spears is lined up for the saucy role.

And just to raise the gossip bar a notch higher, they even speculate that Spears' "violent character murders a man with her bare hands. She also has sex scenes with another girl - not a big deal for the singer who kissed Madonna on stage."

And a snitch supposedly said: "Quentin is convinced Britney will be brilliant.

"She [Spears] is delighted. She thinks it could turn her career and her life around.

"It is perfect Tarantino material. He wanted to get Britney first. She's playing the most important character."

There's absolutely no way that Spears is capable of steering a big production on her own. I mean, have you seen the roadkill that was her 2002 flop Crossroads? Talk about the cinematic equivalent of a sedative.

Update: A mouthpiece for Spears says:

"Though she definitely intends to explore acting roles down the road, right now she's concentrating on recording her next album."

DOLLY PARTON MAKES BRITNEY AND LINDSAY JOKE

Hooray for Dolly Parton! The country music legend (who looks remarkable for 105) made a few jokes about Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan at a concert in LA the other night. And assuming that neither Britney or Lindsay have much in the way of a sense of humour, it could be hair extensions at dawn the next time either of them bump into Dolly.

Dolly told the crowd:

"Poor little Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan - ain't it awful?"

She continued:

"If those little girls slept with as many men as they say in the tabloids, why their little butts would have more fingerprints than the FBI!"

She's got a point.

But we doubt Lindsay or her new 'girlfriend' Sam Ronson will find that remotely amusing.

She then added sympathetically:

"I kinda feel sorry for them. We should give those two a break."

But she declined to say which part of them she'd like to break. Necks perhaps...

Forgetting Sarah Marshall

Verdict: Another sweetly irreverent relationship disaster film from the Judd Apatow stable.

Judd Apatow, writer, director, producer, is the undisputed king of irreverent romantic comedies.

The 40 Year Old Virgin and Knocked Up specialised in crass sex talk and embarrassingly awkward moments - and did it well. But with Forgetting Sarah Marshall this is starting to get predictable and wear a bit thin.

FSM is still refreshing as a romantic comedy. Its bawdy attitude helps you see past the genre's predictability. And unlike typical chick flicks, it's refreshing in that it focuses more on the male perspective on getting dumped.

Directed by newcomer Nick Stoller, it's written by Apatow and Jason Segel, who also stars in the lead role as a struggling musician Peter Bretter. He's's a nice guy and boyfriend to television star Sarah Marshall (Kristen Bell). He's a bit sloppy and a little lazy, but he's good at holding Sarah's purse while she gets her photo taken on the red carpet.

When she announces she's dumping him and there is someone else, Peter's life crumbles around him. Initially, he tries to make himself feel better with one night stands, but after a nervous breakdown on the job (he composes the music for Sarah's cop show) he heads to Hawaii on holiday.

Unfortunately, that is where his ex is vacationing with her new boyfriend, British rocker Aldous (Brand).

Segel is like a less sophisticated Vince Vaughn, and is truly annoying as he cries his way through the beginning of the film, but like all nice guys he grows on you. He's another one of Apatow's boy-man characters who faces the dilemma of moving on with life and growing up, or remaining where he is. He's a bloke, but also an emotional mess and it's this mix of character which makes Apatow's work appeal to both females and males.

Basically, Forgetting Sarah Marshall is what you'd expect from Apatow and co.

It's a film with some home truths and offbeat characters in ordinary situations mixed with ordinary characters in offbeat situations. The laughs are there, but it's a shame they're a long time coming.
